Specific Rules
1. MYLES SMITH BRITS WEEK FOR WAR CHILD (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (asdefined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run on Tuesday 17th February 2026 from 7pm until 8pm on the Capital Evening Show across the Capital Network. Global is thePromoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ and the ‘Prize Provider’ mentioned in these SpecificRules is War Child.

2. The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms andConditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’).Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the GeneralTerms and Conditions.
Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must listen to the Capital Network on Tuesday 17th February2026. There will be one Promotion Rounds across thePromotion Period, with 5 double passes to be given away in that round. The Promotion Rounds are as follows:a. Tuesday 17th February 2026: Between 19:00-20:00 on the Capital Network includingScotland
4. During the 19:00 hour, the presenter(s) will announce that a ticket blitz is happening, and to text in if you want the chance to be part of it. You must send atext with the keyword ‘TICKETS’ to 83958 (the ‘Text Message Line’). You will have until 20:00 to enter.
5. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air. Entriesreceived before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion but may still becharged.
6. There will be one (1) Promotion Round across the Promotion.
7. We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, whichmay delay the delivery of text messages to and/or from us.
8. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. Standard rate text messages topromotion shortcodes are not normally included in ‘inclusive’ packages and may becharged. If entry is made by text message, be sure to use the correct shortcode. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details and charges. If you are notthe bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
9. Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries areprohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prizefrom you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methodsor, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IPaddress, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, atour sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent.
10. You must use the same phone number across the entire Promotion period. It is a breach ofour Promotion Terms and Conditions to use multiple names and/or phone numbers to enterour Promotions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and/or withhold orreclaim any prize from you if we know or have reason to believe you are doing or have donethis.
11. We also reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and/or withhold or reclaim any prizefrom you if we know or have reason to believe that you are making or have made multipleentries by phone by using a computer system, using automated dialling technology or by anyother method which could or does result in you exceeding the maximum number of entriespermitted under these Specific Terms.
12. If we know or suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using morethan one phone number or if we know or suspect you are using variations of your name, wereserve the right to disqualify any relevant entry(ies) and exclude you from this Promotionand also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions.
13. Within 30 minutes of the closing time of the Text Message Line, all eligible entries will beentered into a draw and one eligible entry will be selected at random per Promotion Round.The selected entry must not have been made in breach of the Promotion Terms andConditions. If the entry belongs to you, one of our representatives will call you on thetelephone number on which you entered the Promotion. Please note, we will not be able tocall you back on another number and we reserve the right to ask you to confirm yourtelephone number when we call you back. If you are unable to confirm your telephonenumber and we know or have reason to believe that you have breached the PromotionTerms and Conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies), select anotherentrant to participate in the Promotion and/or withhold or reclaim any prize from you, asapplicable. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant toparticipate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable.
14. If you are this entrant and we call you, your call may be recorded for our records and youmay be asked to have a call with a presenter, during which you may be required to answer afurther question or questions or complete a further task(s). That call will either be broadcastlive or pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contactyou. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If:(i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes tovoicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) ina position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seemto be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct aconversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond ourcontrol (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by anynetwork, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or11during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select anotherentrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, asapplicable. If you have complied with all applicable terms and conditions, and if you aresuccessful (including correctly answering any questions and/or successfully completing anytasks, as applicable) then you will be declared the winner of the Promotion.
15. Before being taken to air we reserve the right to ask you to answer participation entryquestions to ensure you are eligible to play in accordance with the Promotion Terms andConditions. This call will be recorded and may be used for monitoring purposes and/or asevidence should we have reason to believe there has been a breach of the Promotion Termsand Conditions or if we find any inconsistencies in the future. If your entry is ineligible, eitherat the time of being taken to air to play or later once we have your full details, we reserve theright to disqualify your entry(ies), select another entrant to participate in the Promotion and/orwithhold or reclaim the prize from you and select another entrant, as applicable. It is yourresponsibility to make sure you give us clear and truthful answers to our eligibility questions.
16. We and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, image, social mediahandle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearestcity, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s(for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, inany and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely inconnection with the Promotion; subject always to our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.
17. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and ourPromotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which wemay film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and yourguest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or inperson, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PRpurposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we considerappropriate or desirable in connection with the Promotion, unless you object to your and/oryour guest’s information being published or made available. We may also publish your andyour guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.
Eligibility:
18. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who arebased in the UK at the time of entry.
19. Entry is restricted to one entry per person per Promotion Round; duplicate entries will beexcluded from the Promotion.
20. Entrants may only win one prize during the Promotion period.
21. Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. Theuse of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our PromotionTerms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you willforfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or diduse more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is alsoprohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number includinghousehold members or friends.
22. Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request Photo ID (such asyour passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered onbelongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name,address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cashprize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility. If you fail to provide therequested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right towithhold any prize from you.
Prize:23. There will be five (5) winning entrants in total across the Promotion Period..
24. Each winning entrants will receive a pair of tickets to MYLES SMITH BRITS WEEK FOR WAR CHILD concert (the ‘Event’) at the Rescue Rooms, Nottingham on Tuesday, February 24th 2026. Prize Specific Terms & Conditions:
25. By attending the Event, you and your guest agree to abide by the Ticket Terms andConditions which can be found https://britsweek.warchild.org.uk/terms-conditions. You and anypermitted guest will also be bound by any third-party Terms and Conditions applicable to thePrize including, without limitation, the venue Terms and Conditions found at https://www.rescuerooms.com/policies/
26. Winners will be placed on a War Child Guest List and Photo ID will be required to access the Event.
27. Global will provide the winner’s details to War Child for managing entry only. War Child will not use this data for any other purpose or marketing.
28. You and any permitted guest or travel companion will be bound by any third-party terms and conditions applicable to the Prize including, without limitation, the ticket terms and conditions. If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled, War Child will either secure tickets for the winner to attend the rescheduled Event (the date and time will be decided solely between us and the Prize Provider) or, at our discretion, provide an alternative prize.
29. Global and Promoter shall not be responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by you in relation to the Event including any expenditure incurred by you for any postponed or cancelled Event.
30.We are not responsible or liable for any artist delay or cancellation outside of our control. Any expenditure incurred by you ahead of any postponed or cancelled Event is your responsibility only.
31. Tickets are not transferable and resale is prohibited.
32. War Child reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify the competition at any time (and for any reason), without notice.
33. War Child is not responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the competition. The liability of the promoter shall be limited to the maximum amount permitted by law. Nothing in this condition shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of War Child’s negligence.
34. These Ticket Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, Scotland and Wales. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
35.. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the Prize description areexcluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. You and your guest will be solelyresponsible for your own accommodation and travel and any and all other expenses incurredin connection with the Prize. We assume no responsibility and are not liable for any costs,charges or expenses which you and your guest may be required to pay at any time inconnection with your Prize.
36. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required fortravelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes,13but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering anyrequired Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you incomplying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or registerany required Covid-19 tests.
37. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19,both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure tocomply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
38. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of theGeneral Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a Prize and/or perform any of our obligationsunder the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatenedepidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action,guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth &Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).
39.. If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a Prize or perform any of our otherobligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of thePromotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 40 below, in thesecircumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the Prize with another Prize of equal orgreater value at our absolute discretion.
40. The Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except atour sole discretion.
41. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize with another Prize of equal or greater value at ourabsolute discretion.

Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, ourlicensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as theprize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers inorder to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed toOfcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatorypurposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-socialbehaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
44. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you inconnection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance withour Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how youcan exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy.Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our PromotionPartner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit aguest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that yourguest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our PromotionPartner with their personal data.
45. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partnerwhen you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotion Partner willuse your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's Privacy Policy and ourPromotion Partner’s Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent tomarketing at any time by unsubscribing.
46. We and our Promotion Partner may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEAand UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are madeoutside of the EEA or UK, we and the Promotion Partner will ensure appropriate safeguardsto protect your personal data are in place.
47. When you enter a Promotion we will retain your personal data for up to three years forinternal purposes and to comply with our regulatory obligations. You may request the erasureof your personal data by emailing privacy@global.com. If your data is erased prior to theconclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim anyprize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion orwithdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
