Family Pay Tribute To Crash Victim

Leighton Maurice died after the two car collision between Culverhouse Cross and Leckwith on Thursday.
His family have said:
“We as family are shocked and saddened by what has happened.
Leighton was a gentleman through and through; kind, caring and full of jokes.
After his family, music was his everything.
Always on the go and never sat still.
We are numb with grief.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who fought so valiantly at the scene to save Leighton and ask that we are now given our privacy to grieve as a family.”
