Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run

The Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run will return for 2019 on Sunday 31st March, giving runners an early season opportunity to take on the 10K distance on a stunning route around Cardiff’s historic Bay.

This year’s race falls on Mothering Sunday, giving runners a special chance to celebrate with a run with or in memory of a special mother in their life.

Providing a relaxed but exciting atmosphere – it’s a perfect challenge for runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes with a target time in mind right through to those looking to improve their fitness or take on an organised race for the first time.

ABP Newport Wales Marathon

A new event in the Run 4 Wales calendar for 2019, the Healthspan Porthcawl 10K is an exciting addition to the town known for its adventure sports, surf and coastal walks.

The race will take place on Sunday 7th July on a route and showcase a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest, Newton, Trecco, and Coney Bay’s, the picturesque Victorian centre, historic Grand Pavillion and iconic lighthouse.

ABP Barry Island 10K

Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon & Family Fun Run

Wales’ largest mass participation event returns for 2019 on Sunday 6th October when 25,000 runners will descend on the streets of the Welsh capital to take on 13.1 miles.

The route is flat and fast, with an iconic site at every turn – favoured by beginners and some of the world’s top elite athletes. With landmarks like the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Castle and Wales Millennium Centre and the scenery of Penarth, Cardiff Bay, and Roath Lake – it’s no wonder this race is on the bucket list of runners throughout Wales, the UK and the world.

Don’t delay if you want to get involved, the popular race, which is the UK’s 2nd largest half marathon sells out every year and this edition is expected to fill up by early 2019.
