Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in a block of flats in Winchester on Saturday (August 21).
The victim, a 21-year-old woman, encountered the man in the ground floor communal area of flats on Thurmond Crescent
around 9.15pm.
He grabbed her from behind and assaulted her before she managed to break free and the man ran off.
The man, who is not believed to be a resident, is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, between 19 and 25-years-old, skinny build, wearing dark clothing.
The woman suffered minor injuries which did not require medical attention.
Detectives working on the investigation would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault, saw a man running off from the flats around that time or recognises the description of the suspect.
