Three Hurt After Car Falls From Bridge

Three people have been hurt - two seriously - after a car overturned onto the A34 near Winchester.

The vehicle came off the A303 carriageway on Sunday afternoon around 4pm onto the northbound stretch of the A34 by Bullington Cross.

Two of the occupants were trapped in the car and the air ambulance had to land.

One person was taken to the Royal Hampshire County hospital while the other two were taken to Southampton General - police tell us none of the injuries were life threatening though.

Parts of the road had to be closed causing big delays for drivers.
