Southampton: Investigation After Man's Unexplained Death

A man's unexplained sudden death is being investigated by Southampton police.

Officers were sent out after his body was found in a flat on Brinton's Road in St Mary's yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 17 September).

A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out later.

No arrests have been made.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:

"Police were called to an address in Brinton's Road, St Mary's Southampton at 5pm following a report of a sudden death.

"A man's body was found inside the address. His death is currently being treated as unexplained.

"A post mortem will be carried out on Thursday."
