Police in the New Forest are appealing for witnesses and sightings of a rare motor tricycle.
The Blueys Scrounger tricycle, worth £13,000, was hand built by a 61-year-old Totton man. The owner parked it in a lay-by on the A35, four miles south of Lyndhurst on October 13.
Sometime between 12 and 1.30pm, the tricycle was stolen.
PC Ralph Akehurst said there may be witnesses to the theft.
"The area is a popular area with dog walkers, and the road is a busy link road. Someone may have seen the tricycle being ridden away or loaded onto a vehicle and thought nothing of it at the time," he said.
Police released a photograph of the distinctive vehicle today in the hope that it may have been seen in the region since October 13.
Anyone with information about the tricycle is asked to contact PC Akehurst at Hythe on 101 or ring the anonymous Crimestoppers charity line on 0800 555 111.
