Man Charged With Murder in Portsmouth

Detectives have charged a man with the murder of Keith Bevis in Portsmouth.

Marc Martin Wells from Seagrove Road will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court later today (Wednesday 15 May).
 
The 39-year-old was arrested on Saturday afternoon shortly after police were called at 4.55pm to a report of a man's body inside an address on Seagrove Road in North End.

Keith Bevis from Southsea was pronounced dead by emergency services at the scene. The cause of death still hasn't been confirmed by police.
 
Mr Bevis's family were told about the charge against Marc Wells by a police family liaison officer.
