Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses after a man was found in an alleyway heavily bleeding with a stab wound in the city on Thursday, April 12.

At about 2.40pm a woman called police after she received a knock at her door in Chelveston Crescent from another woman in a distressed state to say a man had been stabbed and to call the police.
