Man In Court Over 35 Mile Police Chase

A man's appeared in court after a car was stolen in West Sussex, then was in a crash with a family's car, following a police chase into Hampshire.
Just after 8pm on Saturday 8 June, car keys for a VW Passat were stolen from Steyning Sports Centre on Horsham Road in Steyning, and the offenders fled in the car.
The car was eventually stopped 35 miles away in Hampshire, near Emsworth, by Hampshire Police officers.
It was involved in a crash with a VW Golf containing a family. Four people were taken to hospital after being cut free by firefighters, but their injuries weren't serious.
Matthew Hall from Beach Road in Southsea has been charged with burglary, dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
He appeared at Worthing Magistrates Court on 10th June and has been remanded in custody to appear before Chichester Crown Court on 30 August.
One suspect is still wanted by police.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the second suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 1434 of 8/6.
