Missing Girl Found: Man Arrested

Missing 14-year-old Southampton girl, Megan Rudkin, has been found by police.

She was located in the Winchester area and officer say she's safe and well.

They'd been growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Megan who had been missing from her home in the Polygon area of Southampton since Wednesday, May 11.

Megan had set off for school at the Oasis Academy, Mayfield, as usual on Wednesday morning but failed to return to the family home in Milton Road later that evening.

Police have thanked the public and the media for their help in trying to trace Megan.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of abduction and is being questioned in connecting with her disappearance.
