Man Seriously Injured In Portsmouth Assault

A man has been seriously injured after being assaulted in Portsmouth

The victim, a 20-year-old man, was attacked on Westminster Place, Buckland, shortly before 7.40pm last night
(Saturday, July 20).

The offenders were seen to pull up in a vehicle and assault him before getting back in and driving off.

The vehicle is described as a dark coloured Renault Scenic, possibly an RX4 off-road model.

The victim suffered head injuries and was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a serious but
stable condition.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening
