A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 44-year-old, who was found dead on the pavement at a holiday resort on the Isle of Wight, has been released without charge.
Christopher Parsons, of Arnolds Yard in Brading, was found on Cross Street in Sandown, just after 11pm on Friday (4 July).
Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination conducted by a Home Office pathologist was inconclusive.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said:
``Further toxicology tests will now be carried out. However Mr Parsons does not appear to have suffered any visible injuries.''
A 50-year-old man from Sandown who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge. He was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and has been bailed until 29 September.
