Police are seeking witnesses to two robberies that happened in the Gosport area on Thursday, May 12.
In the first incident that happened at about 10pm on the A32 north of the Brockhurst roundabout, a 21-year-old man was walking along the road when he was approached by two men.
Both suspects then assaulted the victim, punching him in the head at least three times and demanding he give them his valuables. He did so, handing over a Silver LG mobile phone, a black iPod Touch in a black rubber casing, and a black/beige
suede wallet containing debit and store cards.
The victim was treated for cuts and bruising to his face.
The suspects are described as:
-White
-5ft 11ins tall
-24 to 27 years of age
-Stubble
-Wearing a red hooded top, jeans and had a tribal tattoo on his neck

-Long(ish) black scruffy hair
-Wearing a grey Nike t-shirt with red tick logo and black bottoms
In the second incident in Brewers Lane near the A32 at approximately midnight, two hours after the first robbery, a 17-year-old boy was walking along the road when he was approached by three men. They led him into a car park with them and
demanded he give them his valuables. He handed over an iPhone, and his wallet containing £200 in cash and several cards. The suspects then left. The victim was not harmed.
The suspects are described as:

-Short mousey hair
-Wearing a black hooded top

Detective Constable David Sheppard said:
"These are two unprovoked robberies, the first of which happening on a busy road. Given the close proximity of location and time, along
with similarities in the descriptions, we believe these two robberies may have been committed by the same individuals.
"We would ask that anyone who witnessed either robbery, or has more information about the people responsible, to get in touch with police as soon as possible."
