Girl Suffers Broken Nose In Attack
Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old girl was attacked by a three other girls in the city centre.
The girl was with a group of friends outside the Guildhall in guildhall Square when three other girls came up to her.
They threatened her and then attacked her. She was punched in the face several times and had her hair pulled. She was then kicked in the face by one of the girls breaking her nose.
It happened about 6pm on Saturday, December 3.
The attackers are described as:
1) White, aged around 17. Large build. She was wearing black leggings and a black cardigan over a white top. She has long straight black hair.
2) White, aged around 17. She is quite small in size and has long straight black hair.
3) White, aged about 17. The smallest of the three with reddish-brown hair.
Police believe the girl was deliberately targeted and it was not a random assault.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information about it to contact them. They are asked to call PC Tracey Purcell at Southampton Central Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
