Detective Sergeant Greg Willcox said:
"We are aware of a red Ford Focus, a 08 plate, which was seen driving from the Colden Common area towards Bishop Waltham and believe it could have passed the incident at the time.

Danny's family have released a statement:

"We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the professionals who arrived at the scene and also to all our friends and family for all their love and messages of support at this very difficult time.
