Police are releasing a CCTV image of a man who may have information about an assault at the Portsmouth Railway Rifle Club in Goldsmith Avenue in Southsea.
A 35-year-old man was attacked on Friday October 19, 2012 at around 11pm. He sustained a fractured eye socket, which has resulted in a metal plate being inserted into his face and ongoing treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Pete Bugden of Portsmouth CID said:
''This was a private party with many of the guests in fancy dress and Halloween costumes. Several people witnessed the attack and may know who was responsible. One man we believe has information about what happened left the party immediately after the assault in the company of a woman who was dressed in a nurse's uniform."
