Boy And Step-Dad Attacked

A 16 year old boy and his step dad have been attacked by up to 10 youths in hoodies in Southampton.

It happened shortly after midnight on New Years Day.

The boy was walking home with his step-dad in Kathleen Road. They both had their push bikes with them. As they approached the junction with Alfriston Gardens, a group of 8-10 youths attacked them from behind. The group punched and kicked them, leaving the pair with cuts and bruises.

The gang then stole both of their BMX bikes.
