Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses after two 25-year-old men were robbed and assaulted as they attempted to get away from a group of youths in a Southampton multi-storey car park.
The men were in the West Park Road Multi-Storey Car Park near the BBC when the youths approached them and assaulted them. During the assault a mobile phone was stolen and the victim’s car window was smashed.
It happened at around 9.20pm on Thursday, March 1. The youth are all thought to be aged between about 16 and 18 There were four boys and one girl. The girl did not take part in the robbery but was on a BMX bike nearby and arrived with the3 other youths.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them. They would also like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who might have seen or heard something.
