CCTV appeal after £4,000 worth of cigarettes is stolen from a Winchester supermarket.
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Waitrose on Stockbridge Road.
Three men entered the supermarket at around 4:30am, Sunday, July 24.
The offenders got in by smashing a large window before forcing their way into a secured cigarette cabinet.
They made off with approximately £4,000 worth of cigarettes.
The suspects are described as:
-white man, grey white and black striped hooded top, black tracksuit trousers with blue stripes and trainers, black face covering and hood up, white/cream heavy duty gloves, carrying bolt croppers
-white man, black hooded top, yellow T-shirt hanging out underneath, grey tracksuit trousers, purple/blue gloves, possibly latex style
-white man, black beanie hat, black jacket and black trousers, trainers and blue/purple latex gloves, carrying a bright yellow Hippo bag
PC Emma Purser from the Winchester Priority Crime team said:
"We're particularly interested to hear from anyone in the Weeke and Harestock areas who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area or recognises the men from the description or CCTV stills."
