Terms: Subway summer of music’ on Capital FM Scotland

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/ apply to Subway Summer of Music’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 10th – 19th June 2019 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is 105 -106 Capital FM.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:

To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to CapitalFM.com and complete the entry form, uploading a link to their act performing.

• 16 entries will be selected by a Capital, Glasgow Subway and DF Concerts Panel to perform in the Subway

• All 16 Acts must meet the criteria to perform on the Queen Tut’s Stage – that there are core female performers in the band and they are involved from a writing/recording perspective.

• The 16 Finalists must be available to perform a 30 min slot in Glasgow Subway on either 27th or 28th June, over two slots from 4-5pm or 5-6pm over the following stations; Buchanan Street, St Enoch, Hillhead and Kelvinbridge.

• Enrants will be contacted by Friday 21st June to advise if they are a finalist, and when their slot is, and in which station.

• Capital, Glasgow Subway and DF Concerts Panel members will then attend the Glasgow Subway Live performances on 27th And 28th June, and score all 16 acts.

• The act with the highes combined score from the panel will be the winner and will win the place to perform at TRNSMT

• The winner will be contacted on 2nd July.

• The panels decision is final.

Eligibility:

16’s and over only

Entrant must meet the criteria of the Queen Tut’s Stage, that they have core members that identify as female, who are involved in the writing/recording element of the act, in order to win the final prize of a performance slot on the stage.

Entrants shortlisted to play during Summer of Music 2017 or 2018 will not be eligible to win.

Employees or family of employees of Glasgow Subway or TRNSMT will not be eligible to win.

Prize:

- 16 Acts will be chosen to play an acoustic 30 min set in Glasgow Subway, each act will receive £50 for their performance from SPT. Performers are not permitted to collect money while performing.

- No access to power will be supplied therefore buskers must bring own battery operated amp/equipment. Max number of 5 performers in any one act, all acoustic, sound levels need to be adhered to in order to hear security messages and customer transactions within the Subway

- 1 Winner from the 16 chosen, will receive a slot for an acoustic performance at TRNSMT.

- Performance will be on The Queen Tut’s Stage, on Sunday 1-1.30pm
