Toddler falls from Clydebank flat window

A two-year-old girl is in hospital after falling from the window of a flat in Clydebank.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon on Dumbarton Road, close to Boquhanran Road, in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire.

She was taken to hospital but her condition is unknown.

A police spokeswoman said: "At 2.10pm on Wednesday April 10, police were called to a report of a two-year-old girl having fallen from a window on Dumbarton Road, near to Boquhanran Road, in Clydebank.

"Emergency services attended and she has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where her condition is unknown.

"Inquiries are ongoing."

A trauma team and special operations team were also sent to the scene.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1407 hours today to attend an incident at Dumbarton Road, Clydebank. 

"We dispatched an ambulance, the trauma team and our special operations response team to the scene and one patient was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.”
