Three teenagers have been assaulted in a ''large scale'' incident involving a number of youths.
Police were called to the disturbance in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, shortly after midnight on Sunday.
A 16-year-old boy suffered a serious assault during the fracas in Auchinairn Gardens. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and released after treatment.
Two other boys, aged 15 and 16, were also assaulted. The younger of the two was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and later discharged, while the 16-year-old was treated at the scene.
Police Scotland has appealed for information about the disturbance, which officers said involved a large number of male youths.
Detective Sergeant Jas Juttla, of Maryhill CID, said: ''Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this disturbance and I would appeal to any witnesses to come forward.''
