Teenager attacked outside school

A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed with a knife in an attack outside a school.

The incident happened on Ryehill Road, Glasgow, around 11.35am on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called and the teenager was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 11.35am on January 24, police received a report of a 14-year-old being injured in Ryehill Road, Glasgow.

"Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."

Investigations are continuing into the incident and police are understood to be following a positive line of inquiry.
