Missing boy found safe

A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing after failing to turn up at school has been found safe and well.

Liam Jack Bonthron had last been seen on Clarence Drive in Glasgow's west end, at around 8.50am on Monday.

A search was launched for the schoolboy, who had never gone missing before.

Police said he was traced safe and well in the early hours of Tuesday in the Silverburn area, on the southside of the city.
