Man arrested after Science Centre climb attempt

A man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to climb the Glasgow Science Centre tower.

Police were called to the scene on the banks of the river Clyde at around 1.55pm on Saturday.

It is understood the attempt came after an appeal was posted on social media.

The science centre itself was not affected by the incident.
