Man arrested after Falkirk death

A man has been arrested following the death of a man in Falkirk.
Emergency services were called to a property in the Westfield Street area at about 11.05pm on Friday following a report of concern for the occupants.
Tomas Svezas was found injured and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
A 37-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the death.
He is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Barry McDaid, from Forth Valley's criminal investigations department, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Svezas and they are being provided with support from specially-trained officers at this difficult time."
