Man Held After 81 Yr Old Stabbed At Home

A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of an 81-year-old man.
The pensioner suffered stab wounds at his home in the Castleview area of Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, at about 1.45pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to Wishaw General Hospital, where his condition was described by medical staff as stable.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested over the incident, Police Scotland said.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
It is expected he will appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
