Man, 33, Seriously Hurt In Edinburgh Stabbing

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in an Edinburgh park.

The 33-year-old victim is being treated at the city's Royal Infirmary following the attack at Lochend public park on Monday evening.

Officers investigating the assault, which happened at about 8.20pm, are treating it as an attempted murder.

A force spokeswoman said: "Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.''
