Hibs Midfielder Attacked In Edinburgh

Hibs midfielder Gary Deegan has had his jaw broken after he was attacked in Edinburgh

The 25 year old was on George Street in the early hours of Sunday morning when a man approached him and punched him in the face.

He was taken to hospital and was operated on.

It happened just hours after Hibs topped the SPL after beating Dundee 3-0.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
