A boy has been found "safe and well'' after concerns for his welfare sparked a police appeal.

The boy, thought to be between 10 and 14 years old, was seen outside Orlando's takeaway on Skerray Street, in the Milton area of Glasgow, with two men on Friday just after 6.30pm.

Witnesses said the pair appeared to be "coercing'' the boy to walk with them.

Police Scotland, which had appealed for information, confirmed on Sunday that the young person has been traced safe and well.

Officers thanked members of the public for their help with the appeal.
