Police are searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a driver in hospital.
The crash happened on the A92 in Fife at about 4.30am on Monday when a grey Citroen Xsara collided with a white vehicle.
The driver of the Citroen suffered a back injury and was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment but the white car left the scene before emergency services arrived.
Officers have appealed for the driver of the white car or any witnesses to contact them.
Inspector Ian Flynn said: "A man was injured in this collision and we would like to hear from anyone who saw it and who has information that can assist us with our investigation.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 0596 of the 29th May.''
