An appeal has been launched for a man who may have "vital information" about an assault in the south side of Glasgow.
The incident happened at around 3.30am on Sunday August 12 last year on Pollokshaws Road, near to Abbot Street.
A 23-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers have now released an image of the man they hope will help them in the investigation.
Detective Constable John McClintock said: "We are interested in speaking to the man in the image as he could hold vital information which
could assist us in our inquiries.
"If anyone recognises the man, I would ask them to contact us.
"I am also appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, who has still to speak to police, to get in touch.
"Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers at Cathcart Police Station via 101 quoting reference number 3124 of August 14 2018.
"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where you can give information anonymously."
