4 Year Old Seriously Ill After Glasgow Flat Fall

A four-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from the window of a flat.

The child fell from a property in Lewiston Drive in the Summerston area of Glasgow at around 5pm on Thursday.

He was taken to the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

Police said inquiries are under way to establish the circumstances of the incident.

They could not confirm which floor the boy fell from.
