Chelsea transfer news: Enzo Fernandez, Nicolas Jackson, Malo Gusto and more in spotlight as Blues look to player sales

Chelsea are the Premier League's top spenders this summer with the bulk of their business done and attention is now turning to sales.

They have already made £160m from player sales in this window. Only Newcastle (£244m) and Aston Villa (£202m) have generated more from outgoings.

But do not be surprised if Chelsea end the summer window as the league's top sellers once again after recouping a record £314m one year ago.

Chelsea have a squad of more than 40, according to the club website, and there are expected to be a number of exits in the final three weeks of the window.

Which defenders could leave?

Xabi Alonso wants to cut his number of centre-back options down to five, and he currently has nine.

Trevoh Chalobah has already left to join Como in a deal worth up to £30.8m. Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi are likely to join him through the exit door.
