RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ or https://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘WIN a Mini Weekend Experience’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Friday 17th May 2019 to Saturday 1st June 2019 on Capital North West & Wales and Heart North West (the “Radio Stations”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go to www.capitalfm.com or www.heart.co.uk, register their details and answer a multiple-choice question correctly to be in with a chance of winning. Online entry will open at 17:10 on 17th May 2019 and close at 23:59 on 1st June 2019.
4. One eligible and correct entrant will be selected at random and will be contacted through a telephone call from Global, with all the details which will be passed onto the client, Halliwell Jones, to receive their prize package.
5. There will be one winner only from Capital and Heart entries.
Eligibility:
6. All entrants must be 21 years of age or over. The chosen driver must be 21 years or older with no more than 6 points on license. Driver must not have received a driving ban in the last 10 years. Driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 12 months.
7. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
8. One person will win a MINI Weekend Experience which includes:
• A two night stay at a luxury log cabin in the Lake District along with a luxury food & drink hamper -
Log cabin dates and Lake District locations are subject to availability. Log cabin location cannot be changed once booked. Food & Drink Hamper will be up to the prize value of £250 and delivered to the winners address prior to the weekend away
• A MINI car included for the weekend courtesy of Halliwell Jones (optional, see below for alternative)
• An outdoor activity from the choice of -
A pair of tickets to cruise Lake Windermere – these will be in the form of a Windermere Lake Cruises all day pass and will be pre arranged prior to the date of the trip.
A guided walking tour of the area with lunch included - this will be pre-arrange this and a cheque up to the value of £50 will be given to the winner to cover lunch
A pair of weekend tickets to Kendal Calling Music Festival in July 2019 - These will be weekend passes for 27th & 28th July 2019 and subject to availability. The stay does not need to be used the same weekend
• £500 spending money - to be sent in the form of a cheque to the winner's address within 28 days of the winner being notified of their win
MINI Car Rental from Halliwell Jones Specific Terms and Conditions
• Weekend loan will be collection on Friday evening and return on Monday morning and will need to be collected from any Halliwell Jones branch (branches located in the North West of England only). Subject to availability.
• Insurance to be provided by Halliwell Jones Ltd.
• Maximum of 500 miles to be driven over the course of the car loan. If more than this the winner will accrue a charge which will be payable to them
• Driver must be 21 years or older with no more than 6 points on license. Driver must not have received a driving ban in the last 10 years.
• Driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 12 months. Driving licence, passport as well as proof of home address is required prior to the weekend loan
• Driver must have no drink drive offences
• This prize does not include fuel
• Cars will need to be booked in advance and are subject to availability
• Excludes Mini John Cooper Works
9. Car rental is optional – if the entrant does not meet the above conditions, alternative travel will be arranged by Global up to a maximum value of £100. If the winner decides they do not want the car rental included in their prize (regardless of their eligibility), they may choose to remove it without affecting the other elements of the prize. This £100 if taken will be added onto the spending money cheque.
10. Prize must be taken by 31st October 2019.
11. Full prize redemption will be discussed with the winner.
12. There is one winner only. There is one prize shared across Heart and Capital.
13. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
