Arfon's MP claims all options should be on the table for a Brexit deal.

Responding to the Committee on Exiting the European Union’s Tenth Report, The progress of the UK’s negotiations on EU withdrawal – The Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration,Hywel Williams MP, a sitting member of the Committee said,

‘The Prime Minister has painted herself into an impossible corner, unable to satisfy the factions within her own party.’

‘What we are left with is a hollow Withdrawal Agreement and an empty Political Declaration which leaves us in limbo. The documents please no one and in doing so pose more questions than they provide answers.’

‘With Parliament now in control of events, no deal is off the table.’

‘Unless and until the British Government takes one giant leap forward and adopts signal market and customs union membership as its unequivocal position, then the only plausible solution is for the deal to be taken to a People’s Vote.’

‘In the meantime, the British Government must extend Article 50 as a matter of urgency.’
