Two North-East MPs Resign from Shadow Cabinet

Two North East MPs have resigned from Jeremy Corbyn's Shadow Cabinet.

North West Durham MP Pat Glass has resigned as Shadow Education Secretary, after being appointed to the role on Monday.

She says it was her "dream job" but "the situation is untenable".

Emma Lewell-Buck, the South Shields MP was Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government. She says she's 'heartbroken at the state of the Labour Party and recent events'.
