A Second Death On The A19

A man's died after a second crash on the A19 near Thornaby

The crash, involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a HGV happened near to Low Lane Road at around 2:10pm.

The man, a driver of the Corsa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the HGV has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

The A19 was reopened at 9:15pm.
