Stephen Roberts from Durham, also known as 'The Big Red Heart', is attempting to run the Durham Coast half marathon and the Blaydon Race.

Stephen runs to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and is often found running events in fancy dress.

At the end of the day he'll have run 19 miles, as well as driving over 20 miles by car to get between the two races.

Stephen told Capital:
"I've always like running ever since school.

3 years ago I decided I was far too unfit so I took it up again more seriously, for the health benefits really.

I enter around 12 major running events every year and I do all of my runs for The British Heart Foundation."

He'll be running the Durham Half Marathon as Beetlejuice and the Blaydon Race as Mickey mouse.
