A dad of two from Whitley Bay who's been unemployed for 3 and a half years is going to extreme lengths to get a job
27 year old Daniel Conway calls himself the 'extreme job hunter'.
After sending out hundreds of CV's and emails to potential employers over the last 3 and a half years and hearing very little back, Daniel took matters into his own hands and decided he needed to be more creative about it to try and stand out.
He's staged several stunts to try and get himself noticed in he hopes he can convince someone to employ him.
His first stunt was a video resume - where he got his daughter to hold up cards giving reasons why someone should employ her dad - you can watch his video below.
The next stunt was to sell himself on Ebay. Unfortunately Ebay stopped the auction going ahead because it broke their terms and conditions.
He's now handing out pinata's filled with sweets and his CV to try and get noticed that way.
Daniel told Capital:
"At the end of the day I've got nothing to lose. I don't have a job.
I've handed out CVs and emails, hundreds and hundreds, and had little response.
It's making me stand out and get attention above the competition."
