North East Derby Game A Sell Out
For the first time since membership schemes were introduced, the Newcastle United v Sunderland AFC derby has sold out before going on general sale.
Next month's Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland at St James' Park is already guaranteed to be a 52,000 full-house.
And all the tickets for Magpies fans have gone to official Club Members, as supporters ready themselves for another exciting encounter with the Black Cats.
That is not just a one-off though - United's match against Liverpool at the start of April is also predicted to be a Members-only sell-out, with no tickets expected to go on general sale.
Newcastle United currently has close to 41,000 adult Members, along with nearly 4,500 junior Members (Magpies), and season ticket holders automatically become a Club Member.
