Escaped Murderer On Teesside Recaptured

A murderer, described as posing "a significant risk of harm'', has been returned to Kirklevington Grange Prison after going on the run
42 year old Craig Hendley, was last seen in Redcar at 1.40pm on Wednesday 4th April while on day release.
Cleveland Police said he was found by officers in Barnsley, Yorkshire, overnight.
Hendley had been been transferred to Kirklevington Grange Prison in October 2012 on the recommendation of the Parole Board to prepare him for release.
He had a provisional target review date for release in October 2013.
