A 54 year old man's been shot in the back as he got out of his car at the Six Mile Bridge Inn in Seaton Burn
It happened around 4pm on Friday (4th of January)
Two men drove off from the scene in a white van in the direction of the A19.
The victim's injuries are not described as life threatening.
Police say this was not a random incident - and is believed to involve internal disputes between criminals in the area.
Police patrols have been stepped up in the area to reassure the local community.
Five men aged 21, 22, 23, 47 and 52 and a 25-year-old woman have now been arrested in connection with the incident and are helping police with their enquiries.
