Man Killed In Blyth Flat Fire Named

A man who died in a flat fire at Nordale House in Blyth has been named.

40 year old Jason James Lockwood was pronounced dead at the scene of the fire on Tuesday morning (14th February).

Two men, one aged 23 and one aged 28, both from Blyth, have been arrested by police on suspicion of his murder.

They remain in police custody and will be questioned today (Thursday 16th February).

Enquiries are still ongoing and police are asking for anyone who saw anything to get in touch on 101 extension 69191.
