Blyth Man Admits Helping Moat

A man who's admitted helping Raoul Moat by getting rid of evidence for him has been warned he's facing jail
Scott Raisbeck moved a Ford Transit van Moat used after shooting his ex and her new boyfriend in gateshead
The 30 year old's admitted perverting the course of justice - he also removed a number of items from the van which had been used by Moat and his accomplice Karl Ness that night, and hid some of them in his home.
The van had been stolen from Hartlepool Borough Council, and Raisbeck also admitted a separate charge of handling stolen goods.
At Newcastle Crown Court, Raisbeck was granted bail and the case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.
Raisbeck, of Blyth in Northumberland will be sentenced next month.
Last July Moat shot Samantha Stobbart and murdered her karate instructor lover Chris Brown in Birtley, Gateshead.
The next day he blinded unarmed Pc David Rathband after declaring war on police.
After going on the run for a week, Moat shot himself after he was surrounded by police in Rothbury, Northumberland.
