Global's Make Some Noise

Capital's joining all of Global's Radio stations - including Heart, LBC, Smooth, Gold, Radio X and Classic FM - for Global's Make Some Noise Day.
We're helping improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK - including right here in the North East - by shining a light on smaller charities that don't usually get heard.
This year we're raising funds for The Tiny Lives Trust, which helps to care for sick and premature newborn babies and their families on the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
The charity is known for saving some of the youngest lives in our region, but needs £150,000 a year to keep its unique service going.
It helps parents with the little things, like charting their baby's progress or creating a memory box - so they can always be reminded those precious, early moments.
Sharon McLoud from Hebburn is one mum whose life was transformed by The Tiny Lives Trust.
She gave birth to her daughter Edith 13 weeks premature, weighing just 1lb.
They spent a total of 22 weeks on the Special Care Baby Unit and Sharon told Heart without the charities help, she would have been lost.
She said:
"We didn't know what the outcome was going to be."
"You don't know if they're going to be able to breathe without a ventilator, or feed well."
"Edith is now fit and well but you're thrown into a completely different world."
Another young mum to benefit from the charity is Rachel from North Shields, whose baby Jasmine was born at 25 weeks and four days.
They ended up spending 92 days in hospital.
Rachel said:
"My life just stopped - it was all focused on Jasmine. I didn't think about anything else."
"I think it's so important to raise money for Tiny Lives, if it wasn't for them Jasmine wouldn't be here."
You can show your support for disadvantaged children by helping us Make Some Noise for charities and unsung heroes who don't get heard!
