Teen Arrested Over Newcastle Footballer Twitter Abuse Claim
A man has been arrested after a Newcastle United footballer was allegedly subjected to racist abuse on Twitter.
Defender Danny Simpson was allegedly targeted on the social networking site in the early hours of Monday.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: ``Police arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of malicious communications.''
He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
