Police are appealing for information after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Sunderland.
At 9:05pm on Thursday, August 1st, the teeanger was walking her dog in Success Road in Shiney Row when she was approached by a man on a bike.
The man touched the girl inappropriately before riding off.
The girl was left shaken but unhurt by the incident.
The man is described as being in his 30s, of stocky build and around 5ft8 to 5ft 10ins tall. He had short brown hair and was wearing a green t-shirt and camouflage shorts.
There was a man seen walking in the street around the time the offence happened and police want to speak to him as he may have witnessed the incident and could have information that could help with the investigation.
He is described as being in his late 30s, of medium build and around 5ft 10ins tall.
He was bald, clean shaven and was wearing a black top and black trousers that could have been fluorescent work style trousers.
