Accused Uncle Appears in Court
The uncle of a 14 year old boy from Tyne and Wear stabbed to death has appeared in court accused of his murder.
Jordan Cooper was found in a house in Newriggs in the Fatfield area of Washington in the early hours of March 1st.
31 year old Alan Cooper, of no fixed address didnt enter a plea to the murder charge at Newcastle Crown Court.
The case was adjourned until July 8th.
Jordan was a pupil at Biddick School Sports College. His headteacher Richard Wilkinson described him as "a real character with a heart of gold."
